He recalled that the Transparency Unit of the Presidency of the Republic informed the Inai, that the data leak was caused by a hacking from an IP address located in Spain.

At the end of last month, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador stated that the personal information of more than 300 journalists from Mexico who cover the morning conference were leaked illegally, after the Presidency computers were hacked.

That same day the Inai announced that it would investigate the leak due to a possible rape to the protection of personal information of the journalists who cover those press conferences.
