“Yes, I heard that and the truth is it is a great honor. Mathew was the best man in the world.

“I had a great time working with him and to think that he was thinking of me for that role… I mean it would be an honor for me to do it, honestly,” Efron responded.

It was a friend of Matthew Perry, Athenna Crosby, who revealed the actor’s wishes after his death.

“He told me he wanted to make a movie about his life and hoped Efron would play a younger version of him. He said he would ask him soon. He hoped to share more of his story and his recovery from addiction.”Crosby revealed

It should be remembered that the celebrities created a great friendship after sharing the set in the 2009 movie “17 Again.”
