Ariel Awards 2024: this was the red carpet of the awards for the best of Mexican cinema – El Sol de México

Before the ceremony in which 24 categories were awarded, including Best Film, Actor, Actress and Directorthe talents paraded down a red carpet, where they acknowledged their excitement about attending the gala.

Juan Manuel Bernal, He said he was happy to “be here at Degollado, at the Arieles, in the land of my parents. I feel very honored to be here and nominated for the fourth time,” added the nominee in the Best Supporting Actor category for “Confesiones.”

In addition, among the nominees present were: Directors Lila Avilés from “Totem”, Elisa Miller from “Hurricane Season” and Tatiana Huezo from “El Eco”“, three of the favorite productions in more than one category, which at the same time represent the female gender in the nomination for Best Director.

Likewise, the cast of “Tótem” made an appearance outside the venue, in addition to the cast of “Temporada de Huracanes” and “Heroico”, which with 11 nominations each, also shone on their way down the red carpet, with their directors. Elisa Miller and David Zonana, who posed accompanied by their casting.

On the other hand, the ceremony scheduled a moment dedicated to the delivery of the Golden Ariel to Angelica Maria, Brigitte Broch and Busi Cortesin posthumous tribute.

“It’s a huge incentive, but the recognition of the actors is affection. You have to be very patient in this race. The Ariel is our Oscar, it’s the most important award,” said “Mexico’s sweetheart,” who has a 75-year acting career.
