They record new music
Recently the duo traveled to Madrid to work with producer Toni Brunet, who has collaborated with Spanish figures such as Quique González and Coque Malla. Together they made three songs, the first being “Tres corazón”, a hit by Mexican composer Cuco Sánchez.
In this song, Isaac served for the first time as a requintista, an instrument that he recently learned to play. According to what he says, his learning process was very simple, since it was based on his previous experience playing heavy metal.
“I play songs that are a little more metal, the playing of the requinto is similar to that of the electric guitar and metal, so it wasn’t difficult to get used to this instrument. I am happy to play it, before I only played the trumpet, but now I played some parts with requinto, that gives it a more Mexican and traditional touch,” he commented.
