The PRI candidate for the Front for Mexico City candidate, Adrián Rubalcava, asked for transparency in the internal process to define who will compete for the Head of Government in 2024.

This Friday afternoon the leadership of the three parties would announce the candidate of the Front, but the announcement was delayed because they are at a “dialogue table.”

“I have been in communication with my state leadership, which still has no information. They inform me that they are still at a dialogue table. If there is a democratic method, with a registry of each of the parties, and where there are no more militants, I cannot understand why we cannot reach this method,” he said.

The licensed mayor of Cuajimalpa pointed out that the delays generate uncertainty and concern, and assured that he ranks first in voting preference surveys.

“The PRI today is experiencing a historic moment, where we can revive the hope of recovering the city, a moment in which we are observed by society and what they expect is that we will recover that credibility that we have been losing in past years by previous rulers. .

“Whoever should compete is whoever is positioned in this process, it would not be fair for any of the participants and the participants will be removed due to a decision that does not correspond to society,” said Rubalcava.

Despite pointing out a lack of transparency, the licensed mayor assured that there is no intention to impose any candidate on the part of the leaders of the three parties, and maintained the importance of giving greater transparency to the process.
