The White House confirmed this Monday that the president of the United States Joe Biden and the president Andrés Manuel López Obradorwill hold a bilateral meeting on Friday in San Francisco, California, on the margins of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum.

The meeting, which had already been anticipated by López Obrador, will serve for both leaders to “discuss ongoing efforts to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the US and Mexico and address issues of shared concern,” explained White House spokesperson Karine Jean- Pierre, in a statement.
