This weekend the second edition of the Arre Festival 2024, an event dedicated to regional Mexican music, featuring artists such as Carolina Ross, Bobby Pulido, Cuisillos Band, The Recoditos, The Komander, K-Peace of the Sierra, Gerardo Ortizamong others.
The headliners of this edition are The Tigers of the North and the singer of corridos tumbados Junior HThe first will perform this Saturday at 12:30 on the main stage, concluding the activities of the first day.
The Tigers of the North: a long journey
Made up of Jorge, Raul, Hernan, Luis and Freddy Hernandez, and Olivio Larathe natives of Sinaloa began their career in the late 60s, singing corridos that addressed issues of migration and some others about drug trafficking.
With hits like “Boss of bosses”, “The corner table”, “Peter and Paul” and “The Black Door”have remained current, with sales exceeding the 30 million copies worldwideTheir work has earned them seven Grammy Awards and 12 Latin Grammys, in addition to 140 Platinum Records, 135 Gold Records and one Diamond Record.

Junior H: emblem of the new generation
At just 23 years old, the native of Guanajuato has garnered a wide fan base. He has 24.9 million listeners monthly in Spotify, and 2.43 million subscribers on YouTube.
Their first album, “My life in a cigarette”was launched in 2019, and a few months later he joined the ranks of the record label “Humble Ranch”e”, dedicated to marketing the corrido tumbado.
He has collaborated with figures such as Natanael Cano, Featherweight and Armed Linkall of them recognized names of the genre.
Arre Festival Activities
He Arre Festival will be carried out September 7th and 8th. The doors of the Rodriguez Brothers Racetrack Open both days at 2:00 p.m., and musical performances begin at 3:00 p.m. Admission is via Gates 6 and 15 of the complex. Each day is scheduled to end around 10:00 p.m. two in the morning.
