Bobby Pulido and Victor Garcia meet at the Arre Festival – El Sol de Mexico

Bobby Pulido performed at the Arre Festival, where he sang his hit “Desvelado,” which got the audience singing and reunited him with an old friend. It was the former academic Víctor García, who performed the song during the reality show and brought it to a new generation.

This was stated by the singer, who acknowledged the support that this show gave to his career: “I released the song in 1995, and you know that then the success of the songs fades, but suddenly a TV Azteca program called “La Academia” came out, and this guy sang it and gave it life again.”

Bobby Pulido also revealed that the song “Otra vez”, recorded by Víctor in 2003, had been offered to him, but he turned it down, and that is why today he wanted to sing it live with his colleague.

His repertoire included other songs such as “Se muere de amor” and “Llegaste a mi vida”, which he wrote for one of his sons, who is now 26 years old.

Throughout his performance, which ended ten minutes earlier than planned, people danced and sang, and even the beer vendors took advantage of the opportunity to have a jam session with him.

XAVI SINGS ABOUT HEARTBREAK

At the end of Pulido’s performance, the singer of corridos tumbados Xavi went up on stage to continue the party. The 20-year-old offered a one-hour set, where he performed songs such as a cover of “Ahora te puedes marchar”, “La diabla” and “La tragedia”.

As the set progressed, more and more people arrived from the secondary stages. People showed their enthusiasm by singing along, and there were even some who were already beginning to suffer the ravages of the beer, and were staggering through the crowd.
