Camila Valero heads the cast of the telenovela Juana, the virgin – El Sol de México

The actress Camila Valeroin five years of career he achieved his first leading role in the soap opera Juana, the virgin, of producer Patricio Wills, sharing credits with Brandon Peniche.

“I feel very excited, I love the project and the characterwhat better than doing my first soap opera with a cast with great trajectory and a story that from the first readings of the script, I liked it,” he says in an interview with The Sun of Mexico the great-granddaughter of Silvia Pinal.

“I also met the writer Venezuelan Perla Farías, who has made a text full of love, heartbreak, betrayal and with a few touches of humor that make it a soap opera complete,” he adds.

Being a female protagonist, admits the young woman actress, “It comes with its respective pressure, with its responsibility; It is a challenge that I have liked to take and luckily for me it is my second leading role, the previous one was in a series and I feel more prepared.”

Regarding his role as Joan in his first soap opera, expresses: “I identify with her in several ways. I think he is a character which also has a common denominator with the previous ones that I have done, because she is very liberal, she breaks with the established rules.”

Camila Valero affirms that her great-grandmother Silvia Pinal, gives her advice, “she is very happy for me, she is a very present great-grandmother and when I told her that I was in this project, she was very excited. When she saw my series, she wrote to me every now and then, she cast it in two days, that means a lot to me, her opinion regarding my work is super important.

“My mom says that rather than worrying if I wear the protagonist or not, it’s that I enjoy acting, doing my job; It is the greatest advice he gives me, even though I have pressure, stress and nerves from filming that can be heavy, that I enjoy it.”

Juana, the virgin by Patricio Wills began recording and will be aired in June of next year, on The starswith the performances of Brandon Peniche, Gabriel Vega, Alexis Ayala and Irina Baeva.
