Firefighters controlled a fire in an abandoned building of the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (ISSSTE) near the Monument to the Revolution.
The Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection reported at around 4:00 p.m. this Wednesday that the fire occurred on the fifth floor of the building located at Paseo de la Reforma 20 and Donato Guerra, in the Juárez neighborhood.
Around 5:00 p.m., the Mexico City Fire Department reported that the fire had been extinguished after cooling and removing debris.
