Four people murdered in La Lealtad, Chihuahua, including a 14-year-old girl – El Sol de México

This Saturday four people, including a 14-year-old girl, were killed in an attack while they were were found inside a home in the one located between the intersections of the 51st and Tamborel streets in Lealtad 1 colony, Chihuahua.

Preliminary reports indicate that a group of armed individuals arrived at a home in that area and opened fire repeatedly, causing panic among the neighbors.

Following the report, a strong operation was deployed by the three levels of government.

The under 14 years oldwho was apparently hit by bullets, later died in hospital, despite the efforts of the paramedics who rushed her to the hospital.

The scene of the attack was cordoned off by members of the Municipal Public Security Department, who were in charge of securing the area to allow the corresponding authorities to carry out the investigations.

Staff of the State Attorney General’s Office, together with state agents from investigation and forensics, arrived to collect evidence, among which were multiple spent casings scattered at the scene.

Authorities have conducted patrols in the area and set up various checkpoints to try to find the attackers, although there is still no clear information on their whereabouts.

The authorities have asked the population to collaborate by providing any information that may help clarify the facts and locate the attackers. Meanwhile, the investigation continues and new details on the progress of the case are expected to be released in the coming hours.
