IMSS elevator failure in Nuevo León: an orderly is almost trapped – El Sol de México

A elevator of Hospital 34 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Monterrey, Nuevo León, failed when suddenly activated the lowering mechanism and press a stretcher carried by an employee who was unharmed.

At the time of the incident, the unidentified orderly was almost injured when the elevator descended with the doors open, but managed to get out in time of the place.

The Cardiology Hospital is located on Linconl Avenue, in the Valle Verde neighborhood in the west of Monterrey, and for years it has been performing heart transplants, which has earned it recognition in this regard.

On August 11, an elevator at the Traumatology Hospital 21 of the IMSS presented failures and five women were trappedso they had to be rescued unharmed by Civil Protection.

Also last August 5, four women were trapped for 45 minutes in the elevator of IMSS clinic 2, but they were rescued by Civil Protection.
