Over the past 11 months, MSF teams have been forced to abandon 14 medical facilities in the Palestinian enclave.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 20 of Gaza’s 36 hospitals are not operational and insist that makeshift facilities such as field hospitals lack advanced surgical care capacity and many other essential elements for treating patients in critical condition or with chronic illnesses.
