The and the Workers of the Judicial Branch of the Federation They closed off access roads to the Chamber of Deputies, where the general discussion of the ruling on judicial reform was scheduled to begin on Tuesday.

According to the information shared to The Sun of Mexico, The closing began at 5:00 sharp. and was led by the workers of the Judicial Branch of the headquarters of the Palace of Justice of San Lázaro.

With this measure, the employees seek to stop the discussion and eventual approval of the judicial reform, which proposes the dismissal of judges, magistrates and ministers of the SCJN for their election by popular vote. The reform, the workers accuse, threatens the judicial career and independence.
