According to the sixth government report of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the amount returned to these workers wasr 198.3 million pesos and was taken from the inactive accounts of the Afores.
This pension fund was created by the current government so that retirees from the contributory regime of individual accounts receive a pension of 16,777 pesos.
To this end, the fund will be funded with money from the collection of debts from public agencies or entities, contributions from the Ministry of Financeand even the extinction of autonomous organizations.
You will also receive resources from inactive accounts of the Aforeswhich are those that have not registered any movements in the last 10 years.
However, workers have the option to claim and request the return of their resources if they detect that they were transferred to said pension fund.
As of August, the fund received total resources of 44 thousand 883.9 million pesos, of which 64 percent will be to complement workers’ pensionsa 27 percent for refund requests and a nine percent for transfers tol IMSS and Infonavit.

According to the report presented by President López ObradorBetween July and August, 839 pension supplements were paid for 4.16 million pesos, benefiting 67 ISSSTE workers and 772 IMSS workers.
