Nearshorign promotes construction of 50 industrial parks in Mexico – El Sol de México

The relocation of investments in Mexicoknown as nearshoringpromoted the construction of 50 industrial parks throughout the country, which entail a investment of about three billion dollars.

Claudia Esteves, general director of the Mexican Association of Industrial Parks (AMPIP)reported that these complexes are in different stages of construction and that they expect the opening of between 25 and 30 percent next year.

The rest, said during his participation in the 29th edition of the Congress of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade (Comce)will open around 2027.

“We have identified 50 new industrial parks in the country, especially in the northern, shoal, western and central areas of the country, which we hope will add eight million additional square meters in the coming years,” declared the directive.

Esteves said that this offer does not include projects in the region of the Isthmus of TehuantepecHowever, he did not rule out adding new parks in that area attracted by the Transisthmian Corridor project which the federal government plans to inaugurate in December.
