Nissan Sentra 2024 catches up with light tweaks, launch – El Sol de México

The Japanese brand’s sedan reaches the middle of its life cycle with a small update in design, technological load and safety, where it offers advanced driving assistance from the outset that makes it even more competitive in the category.

Subtly the exterior receives adjustments for a more dynamic appearance; At the front, the grille grows to better fit the headlights LEDwith a greater proportion of elements in glossy black and respecting the chrome stripes to create the iconic shape in V. The facia achieves a cleaner finish with simulated air inlets on the sides and a double open segment in the lower part of the center. What was left out of the redesign were the fog lights.

The body maintains its known proportions of 4.64 meters and a wheelbase of 2.71 m; The wheels have a new two-tone finish that, depending on the version, are 16 or 18 inches. The rear part modifies its finish with a stylized spoiler and diffuser with a chrome exhaust tip.

It respects the conception of the technological and sporty cabin that remains practically intact: it has an eight-inch screen, an audio system Bose, dual-zone automatic climate control with circular slits, sunroof, instrument panel with analogue markers and a display seven inches. For the most equipped version, contrasting tan leather upholstery and diamond patterns on the seats.

Improves active safety with the incorporation of advanced driving assistance from the entry to the range with intelligent emergency braking, forward collision warning and driver alert monitor; The rest of the technologies such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection and lane keeping are exclusive to the top variant.

In the mechanical section, it continues with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 145 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque, associated with the six-speed manual or automatic transmission. CVT. MIt maintains the average consumption figures in the combined cycle of 19.2 km/l.
