With a view to strengthening its electronic financial offer at a global level, the digital bank Openbankof Santanderwill reach USA during the second half of the year.

Until now, Openbank already serves more than two million customers in Spain, Portugal, Germany and Netherlandswhile having 18 billion euros in depositsmore than any other digital bank of the European continent.
It also has a presence in Argentina and it is planned that in the second half of 2024 it will start operations in Mexico.
Through a statement, the financial institution stated that with the launch of Openbank in the United Statesits award-winning and innovative platform technological on the cloud.
He added that the Openbank launch will speed up the execution of the Santander’s profitable growth strategy in the United States, through deposit capture for provide liquidity to your auto financing subsidiary.

This bank will operate with a Technological platform designed internally in Santander which provides users with greater security, comfort and simplicity in their daily operations.
