Parade of the 113th Anniversary of the Mexican Revolution – El Sol de México

With the participation of 1,416 elements of the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena). Secretariat of the Navy (Semar) and the National Guard (GN), the commemorative parade for the 113th Anniversary of the Mexican Revolution began this Monday. The last one that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador will lead in his six-year term.

At the beginning of the anniversary ceremony, President López Obrador, accompanied by the heads of Sedena and Semar, Luis Crescencio Sandoval and José Rafael Ojeda Durán, respectively, walked from the National Palace to the center of the Plaza de la Constitución, to raise the National Flag and, later.

Immediately the president boarded a military vehicle to tour the capital’s Zócalo and review the elements of the Armed Forces characterized as Mexican revolutionaries of 1910. During the ceremony, in addition, recognition was made for the 200 years of the creation of the Heroic College Military.

Members of the president’s legal and expanded cabinet attended the commemorative event, such as the Secretary of the Interior, Luisa María Alcalde and the Secretary of Security, Rosa Ícela Rodríguez, as well as the head of the capital’s Government Martí Batres Guadarrama.

During the ceremony, insignia and recognitions were also presented to outstanding members of the Armed Forces and National Guard, who with this date are promoted to an immediate rank.

The absence of representatives of the other two powers of the Nation, the Judicial and Legislative, in this republican act stood out at the ceremony.
