PJF judges and workers join the march on September 1 against judicial reform – El Sol de México

Judges, magistrates and PJF workers announced that they will participate in the march summoned by law students against the judicial reform next Sunday September 1st.

This afternoon, a meeting was held inside the headquarters of the Federal Judicial Branch (PJF) in San Lázaro Meeting between representatives of the 11 buildings that make up the PJF in Mexico City, together with judges, magistrates and representatives of the JUFED.

One of the main lines of action raised in the four-hour private meeting was the Participation of all workers, judges and magistrates in Sunday’s marchwhich will depart from the Angel of Independence towards the Senate of the Republic.

In it, they will participate students from UNAM, ITAM, Ibero, La Salle, ITESO, UAEM, CIDE, ITESM and CIDE.

The National Association of Circuit Magistrates and District Judges of the Judicial Branch of the Federation confirmed its participation through a statement:

“JUFED announces that it will join the march called for this Sunday, September 1st at the Angel of Independence, in Mexico City, by various student organizations (…) This organization has asked its 32 regional offices, which cover the entire country, to join the replicas of the marches in the states.”

At a press conference, Patricia Aguayo, spokesperson for independent workers, also confirmed the attendance of this group:

“They are inviting us to a march (…) We are going to accompany them in this organization that they (the students) have implemented. I ask for your participation“, Aguayo Bernal told all the striking PJF workers.
