PJF workers call for a march on the day of Sheinbaum’s inauguration – El Sol de México

The and the Workers of the Federal Judicial Branch (PJF) They called for a new mass mobilization on October 1, the day in which Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo will take office as president of Mexico.

In protest against the approval of the judicial reform, the “March for freedom and justice”as it is named, will take place on October 1 and will depart from the Monument to the Revolution around 9:00 in the morning towards the Angel of Independence.

During the protests carried out by employees of the PJF This afternoon at the main headquarters of Federal Judicial Council (CJF)one of the spokespersons announced:

“We are continuing with activities such as the one scheduled for October 1, the march that is an open invitation. It is for all citizens, every Mexican who wants to avoid a dictatorship in this change of Presidency,” they stated during the mobilization this Wednesday.

The protests of this day were directed to the Federal Judicial Council and its plenary magistrates, to whom workers requested unity after the approval of the judicial reform which seeks to eliminate this organization.

The main slogan expressed by the protesters was “dear councillors, do not leave us alone” and they called on the Council authorities to guarantee their labour rights.

Councilor Ana Lilia López came out to attend to the workers, and showed them her support:

“He Judicial Branch of the Federation “It has been one of the powers that has been at the service of society, that has fulfilled its mission and that has changed the lives of many people who are seeking justice. That is why I am here, because I fully believe that we are defending what is ours, what it has cost us work to build as a society, what it has cost us work to maintain,” he said.

It is the second day of consecutive protests after the judicial reform was published in the Official Journal of the Federation last September 15th. Yesterday, workers went to the Court.
