The Churubusco Studios pay tribute to one of the divas of the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema: Silvia Pinal.
On Thursday afternoon, the 92-year-old actress attended the filming venues in the south of the city to witness the unveiling of her name on one of the buildings there.
The producer was also accompanied by her daughters Sylvia Pasquel and Alejandra Guzmanas well as one of her granddaughters, Stephanie Salas, as well as friends and some special guests.
“The Pinal family thanks @est_churubusco for the great honor bestowed upon the Mexican Diva, Silvia Pinal, by naming one of their buildings after her. It was an unforgettable day, thank you for so much love! @laguzmanmx, @stephaniesalasoficial @luisenriquegp,” Pasquel posted on his official Instagram account.
Alejandra Guzmán posted a photo with her mother, while she holds a yellow flower and in the background there is a photo of the actress when she was young.
As shown in Pasquel’s clip, the plaque with Silvia Pinal’s name, complemented by the phrase: “The function of art is to beautify, to make vibrate, to make laugh.”

From her wheelchair, the matriarch of the family signed autographs and the cover of the 1968 film “Amor de María Isabel,” directed by Federico Curiel and in which she shared credits with José Suárez, Norma Lazareno, Aldo Monti and María Antonieta de las Nieves.
