The Attorney General of the State of Guerrero presented as detainees: Four police officers from the municipality of Taxco and six other civilians who were detained within the C2 facilities, where they were holding a person hostage.
Since last Wednesday, it became known that around fifty workers from the Public Security, Civil Protection and Traffic areas of the municipality of Taxco were arrested.
All those arrested have reportedly made statements and most have been released, except for the police officers who already had an arrest warrant, as well as the six civilians who were inside the police facility and could not prove they were members of the force.
The statement from the Prosecutor’s Office regarding the events recorded in Taxco establishes that A person was being held in police custodywhich would show the collision between members of this corporation with organized crime groups.
Following the acts of violence that occurred in the municipality of Taxco, the undersecretary of political affairs of the State government, Francisco Rodríguez Cisneros, revealed that the mayor of this municipality, Mario Figueroa, had refused to link the C2 video surveillance system with the C4 of Iguala or Chilpancingo.
The statement states that to enter C2 of Taxco they did so in compliance with a search warrant issued by the competent authority and of that site a kidnapped person was released.

In C2, the arrest of Florentino “N”, Marino “N” and Yolanda “N” was achieved, who are active municipal police officers and will be prosecuted for the crime of aggravated kidnapping.
At the police station, Luis “N”, David “N”, Carlos “N”, Cristofer “N”, Alexis “N” and Ángel “N” were also arrested in flagrante delicto, who did not prove their identity as municipal police officers.
“Meanwhile, in the town of Cacalotenango in the same area of the state, an arrest warrant was executed against Eusebio “N”, a municipal police officer, for the crime of aggravated kidnapping.”
The four police officers were presented directly to a control judge so that the formal process against them could begin because they were already being claimed in a arrest warrant.

The other six people were brought before the public prosecutor’s office so that the protocols for integrating the investigation file can be initiated and subsequently the prosecution for the crime of aggravated kidnapping and other crimes that can be charged against them.
