Both projects are based on the book of the same name (“One Day”) by David Nicholls. The story tells the life of “Dexter” and “Emma”, two young people who meet on July 15, 1988, on the night of their college graduation; At that moment they are loved, to the extent that in the coming years they fulfill the promise of always seeing each other on the same day, July 15.

By having 14 episodes, each of these will tell the life of the protagonists, much more in depth, those things they do when they are at a distance, their dreams come true, as well as their plans. But within this, it will also be mixed with their story of a love that simmers, since they see each other only once a year, for two decades.

The movie managed to raise almost $60 million worldwide, according to data from Box Office Mojo.
