They identify 19 of the 23 bodies burned from a crash in Sinaloa – El Sol de México

Culiacán, Sin.- This Saturday they were identified by the State Attorney General’s Office, 19 of the 23 bodies that were burned during the strong crash that took place in the Culiacán-Mazatlán highway near Elota, Sinaloa.

In a release, The State Prosecutor’s Office reported that the clarification was achieved through comparison of 38 genetic samples from relatives with the DNA extracted from the remains.

In a call to the community, the State Attorney General’s Office urges those who have not yet provided blood samples and have relatives who boarded bus 502 on January 29, 2024, to go to the nearest deputy prosecutor’s office.
