SALVATIERRA, Gto.- This Sunday night the name of eight of the 12 people killed during the early hours of this Sunday, as well as a possible hypothesis of the massacre that was the result of an armed attack carried out in the Former Hacienda of San José del Carmenwhere an inn between friends was taking place.
Following a statement, eight of the 12 people who died in the municipality of Salvatierra have been identified after an armed attack on the Former Hacienda of San José del Carmen, located on the side of the Salvatierra-Cortazar highway.
The victims were identified as: Thalia, Macarena, Galileo, David, irving, Hector, Emily and Valentinewho died at the scene after having received multiple bullet impacts derived from armed attack at the scene, where another 11 people were also injured, who were taken to receive medical attention.
Among the victims are two members of the Cornejo Dynasty bandof which Thalia Cornejo He lost his life at the scene, while the other member of the group has not made himself known, however he is hospitalized in a serious condition, so the group is requesting blood donors.

Likewise, a hypothesis is circulating that to date remains unconfirmed, in which they mention that two subjects arrived at the inn, and as time went by they wanted to ask one of the girls to dance, who at the time refused, and upon insistence the kids asked them to leave the place, however minutes later they would return with a group of armed individuals shooting multiple times at the façade and the people who were in the inn.
The events occurred around four in the morning on Sunday. To the system 911 emergencies It was reported that for several minutes strong bursts of gunshots were heard coming from the area where the Former Hacienda San José del Carmenon one side of the Salvatierra-Cortazar highway.
The first reports indicated that armed men entered the place and without saying a word began to attack all people that they were there, including some teenagerstargeting at least half of those present.
After committing the assaultthe attackers still had time to set fire to four vehicles that were parked at the place, two cars and two motorcycles, in addition to the truck that transported the sound that enlivened the party, while they also fired shots at the façade of the Ex Hacienda San José del Carmen.

It should be noted that at least 50 people were in the former hacienda at the time of the attack, of which 11 died on the spot, one more died in the hospital and 11 were injured.
