Ulises de la Torre, Omar Medina, Gloria Aura, Alicia Paola, Dani Romo, Leonardo Bono and Ceci Arias are part of the cast of this celebration, but the actors have changed over time, as have the theatrical venues.

“Numbers are easy to say, they are said quickly and they have meaning. Tonight we are celebrating the 2100 performances, which in reality today is the 2123rd performance, we have revived it three times, the most recent was in March of last year,” said producer Morris Gilbert as he took the stage to preside over the celebration.

“Toc Toc, it has incredible magic. We at Mejor Teatro have produced so many works in these years and it is difficult to find a magical title like this one, that is unbreakable, time comes and goes and we still continue because not even the pandemic ended Toc Toc”

“And now with this great cast, what a great 2100 celebration performance they just gave us. Congratulations, they have been splendid,” said Gilbert.

He brought the four godparents, friends of the house, onto the stage. “We thank you for coming to unveil the plaque because the work deserves it and I am very excited,” he added.

“What an honor to be here on this important night for the production, also with these lifelong friends. Morris, I congratulate you, for your love of theater, for your respect for the stage. I want to congratulate everyone because he had never heard my husband laugh, until today; In other words, all the laughter that was heard was from my husband. Thank you very much for inviting me as godmother,” said Shanik Berman.

“How nice to celebrate like this with this beautiful performance with the splendor of the cast and that four of us godfathers are here. I saw it in its first performances, when they were in Santa Fe. In the story I love to pay attention to the other to free you at times from what ails you. Congratulations,” commented Ceci Ponce.

“Good night, congratulations, what fun, what a pleasure. I have been working on Strangers on a Train and Two Plus Two for nine years and I didn’t have time to come to the theater as an audience. Being here has been a pleasure, to enjoy them and how incredible they all are,” Plutarco Haza recognized the work of his colleagues.

“It’s incredible what is achieved on stage. I want to congratulate all of you, the cast and the production, because few works reach 2,123 performances, it is a number that is easy to say, they change the cast, they change the theater and here they continue,” shared Arap Bethke.

“It also makes me think that our disorders are quite profitable, because I really want to congratulate them because as actors and actresses they have a good time on stage. And theater always confronts you, makes you think about life, makes you laugh and we are in a full room in a play that makes us reflect and think about those who have OCD and above all grateful that I do not have as many OCD as these characters. , added the actor.

Toc Toc, is the comedy where the disorders that change the quality of people’s lives are exposed in a funny but at the same time profound way, presented from a comic scenario. The play is presented at the Ignacio López Tarso theater at the San Ángel Cultural Center.
