A user of the Mexibús Mass Transportation System reported that a group of armed subjects He stripped the passengers of their belongings.
The robbery took place in one of the articulated units of the line 1 of the Mexibús, that runs from the Ciudad Azteca terminal, in Ecatepec, to the Ojo de Agua terminal, in Tecámac, with a estimated influx of 135 thousand users per day.
According to Alejandra “N”, on Wednesday morning the unit left the Central Supply terminal in the direction of Ciudad Azteca, however, after a few minutes, four subjects got up from their seats to carry out the assault.
The victim narrated that two of the subjects were stationed at the entrances to the unit and the other two in the center, when suddenly from among their clothes they took out firearms and they began to assault to the passengers who, for the most part, were women.
“One of the thieves grabbed my backpack, took out my things and then threw it on the ground. He did the same with the woman who was sitting next to me. According to the Mexibús it was the safest transport, but we already saw that it was not“, denounced the victim.

He reported that once the thieves stripped all the passengers of their belongings, just before arriving at the Jardines de Morelos station, they got off the unit and They escaped.
He added that upon arriving at the Las Americas station they requested the support of the guards, but they replied that they could do nothing.
