And now, after 118 days of protests, the unions have reached a historic agreement that has definitively put an end to the setbacks for the large production companies. The agreement, which will be signed this November 10, highlights the increase in salaries for all staff for a little more than 1,000 million dollars in a period of 3 years and above all, new measures to counteract the use of AI within the film industry.
With this on the table, SAG-AFTRA and other unions have met the goals of the protests, so now Hollywood and the major entertainment studios will be able to return to work efficiently and without further delays.
