Mexicans triumph at the TikTok Awards 2024 – El Sol de México

Two of the exponents of Mexican reggaeton, Bellakath and Yeri Mua, were recognized in the third edition of the #TikTokAwards2024, held tonight at the Televisa San Ángel facilities.

At the award ceremony, which was hosted by Belinda and Juanpa Zurita, Bellakath was the winner in the Song of the Year category for the song “Y yo me le pego” Ft. Profeta Yao Yao and Smi-Lee. “I want to thank all my fans for listening to my songs. This is not only an achievement for me, but also for Mexican reggaeton because it has been growing and also for women,” she mentioned.

For her part, Yeri Mua received recognition as the New Artist of the Year. “I just have to say TRAKA! Above all, I want to thank my followers, my parents, my team and Uzielito Mix who is here. Thanks to Mexican reggaeton for opening a door for me, it is full of talent. This is coming in a big way! “She said.

For her part, Wendy Guevara was the winner in the Trend of the Year category for her phrase “Old!”, dedicating her recognition to the trans community and Las Perdidas. “Thank you very much, we in the trans community can do it too,” she said.

Earlier at the TikTok Awards, Pablo Charga announced Islas Vlogs as the winner of the “TikTok made me see” branch. The popular creator of videos of questions and dynamics on the street dedicated a few words to his interviewees for “having changed his life.”

Likewise, his partner on the Clase Libre podcast, Esen Alvarado, was recognized as Creator of the Year.

In the sporting field, Mercedes Roa and Paola Longoria, a prominent Mexican professional racquetball player, awarded the “Crack of cracks” award to Javetas en el Arco. “It is for the community that we make content for society,” she mentioned about his victory.

Regarding video games, Jorge Blanco and Brek El Milagro invited PipePunk to take the stage, to receive the recognition of “Pro of gaming”.

Other winners were Melissa Navarro as Live Master, Leo Study in “I discovered it on TikTok” and Héctor de la Garza as Breakthrough Creator of the Year.
