AMLO affirms that economic, security and migration agreements were reached with the US – El Sol de México

Andrés Manuel López Obrador He assured that after meeting this Wednesday afternoon with senior US government officialsachievements were made in terms of economic cooperation, security and migration for the benefit of both nations.

In a message published on his social networks, the Mexican president stated that this afternoon’s meeting with three officials from the White House and his teams was carried out on his initiative and as a request to his counterpart Joe Biden.

“We ask President Biden to meet with the secretaries Antony Blinken, Alejandro Mayorkas and the presidential advisor to Homeland Security, Elizabeth Sherwood-Randallto directly address issues of economic cooperation, security and migration,” said the man from Tabasco.

“Important agreements were reached for the benefit of our people and nations. “Now more than ever, a good neighbor policy is essential,” he indicated.
