The office manager of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico CityUlises Lara López, reported that ministerial work is being carried out to obtain a conviction against the former federal deputy of Morena, Benjamín Saúl Huertafor the alleged rape of a minor.
Through a message, the official explained that the public ministries carry out various procedures before the respective jurisdictional body to achieve accreditation of their criminal liability.
“We seek to achieve access to justice, reparation for damage and the guarantee of non-repetition in this case of sexual assault,” said Lara López.
The announcement occurs one day after a Puebla Prosecution Court sentenced The former legislator received 22 years in prison for the crime of rape.
