The sale of new light cars in Mexico grew 14.8 percent at an annual rate in April to total 112,048 units, the Inegi.
This is the best result in new vehicle sales for the fourth month of the year since 2017.
Likewise, it was the twelfth month in a row in which the industry recorded the marketing of more than one hundred thousand units monthly.
However, April was the lowest sales result for a month since last August.

In the accumulated of the first four months of the year, 461,800 new cars were sold in the country, a figure 11.9 percent higher than what was reported in the same period of 2023.
