SALVATIERRA, Gto.- The Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office located and, in coordinated actions with the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) and SEDENA, captured two of the alleged perpetrators of the multi-homicide with an arrest warrant. registered on December 17, 2023, in the city of Salvatierra. There is evidence that proves his participation in various criminal acts recorded in the Laja-Bajío area.
The detection of ÓSCAR OSVALDO “N” alias “El Borre” and PALOMA “N” was achieved, identified as members of the armed commando that attacked young people in an inn that was held in the former hacienda of San José del Carmen.
Criminal experts collected and identified evidence related to the investigation, forensic experts and criminal information analysts, together with Investigation Agents, formed a team that incorporated elements that allowed the identification of those now detained.
The technological advance in current forensic science has allowed the Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office to collect evidence and information about the massacre, which will be brought to the attention of a Judge to demonstrate its evidentiary content.
It is important to mention that the detainees have also participated in multiple criminal events recorded in the Laja-Bajío area; the information will be detailed as the investigation process allows.
It was last December 17 that 11 young people were murdered inside the Ex Hacienda San José del Carmen and 14 more were injured, when they were celebrating a posada in said place.
