INE orders AMLO to eliminate presentation of his Construction reform package – El Sol de México

The counselor Claudia Zavala president of the Complaints and Denunciations Commission, indicated that in the ceremony President López Obrador made reference to the preference of the political model he leads and in which he identifies the opposition to his government, omitting his obligation to be impartial during the election.

The counselor added that the president recognized that the presentation of his reform package responds to the ongoing electoral process.

The Complaints Commission also urged President López Obrador not to make electoral pronouncements, a call that adds to the 24 that the electoral authority has made since the elections started on September 7, 2023.
