Israel will respond to Iran’s weekend attack with missiles and drones against its territory, the chief of the General Staff declared on Monday.
“This launching of so many missiles, cruise missiles and drones against Israeli territory will be responded to,” declared the Chief of the General Staff, Herzi Halevi, from the Nevatim air base in southern Israel, which suffered some damage to the offensive.
The Tehran attack was a response to the deaths of seven Iranian officers in an attack on the Iranian embassy compound in Damascus on April 1.
