President Andrés Manuel López Obrador justified that the Mayan Train had errors after its inauguration and promised that it will improve its services later.
During his morning press conference from the National Palace, the president assured that the criticism of the Train about the lack of air conditioning and its slow progress is because his adversaries are “very angry” about its inauguration.
Likewise, AMLO referred to the criticism that the menu was very limited and pointed out that these details will improve.
“There is no cochinita, there are no panuchos, there are no chanchamitos, but paninis… And that the food services menu has paninis and it is very expensive. Little by little we are going to improve it, it is a process, which Wait for us, it is starting,” said the president and asked his users for patience, as he stressed that the work is starting.

During the first weekend of Mayan train service, after the president inaugurated the first stage of this work on Friday, users on social networks reported delays and complained about the price of the menu. They highlighted that the menu ranges between 200 and 300 pesos.
