November 20: Metro and Metrobús schedules in CDMX for a holiday – El Sol de México

The Metro reported that next Monday, November 20, the day that commemorates the beginning of the Mexican Revolution, it will provide service with holiday hours, which is from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on the 12 Lines that it transportation network has in the Mexican capital.

The Metro called on users to take this notice into account to schedule their trips and thus avoid setbacks, because as we already know, on holidays in CDMX public transportation decreases considerably.

Because it is a holiday, the “Your bike travels by Metro” program applies, which allows you to enter the network with bicycles during all operating hours.

The Metro asked users who enter with bicycles to retreat to the platform wall, when waiting for trains, as well as to allow free entry and exit at the doors of the cars.

Metrobús schedule

The Mobility Secretariat reported that due to the parade alluding to November 20, the service on the Metrobús network will have modifications to its operating hours.

Lines 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7 will have modifications to their service which will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The operation on these lines will be as follows:

● Line 1: From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the service will be from the stations Indios Verdes to Revolución (northern section), and from El Caminero to Insurgentes (southern section). Plaza de la República, Reforma and Hamburg will be left without service.

● Line 3: From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the service will be from the stations Tenayuca to Buenavista (northern section), and from Cuauhtémoc to Pueblo Santa Cruz Atoyac (southern section). Mina, Hidalgo, Juárez and Balderas will be left without service.

● Line 4: From 09:00 to 13:00, the service on the Northern Route will be from Teatro Blanquita to San Lázaro and Alameda Oriente. There will be no service at the Buenavista, Cuauhtémoc Delegation, Mexico Tenochtitlan, San Carlos Museum, Hidalgo, Bellas Artes stations.

Service to Mexico City International Airport (AICM) will be normal from San Lázaro.

From 05:00 to 13:00 all stations on the Southern Route will be without service.

● Line 7: From 05:00 to 13:00, the service will be from Indios Verdes and Hospital Infantil La Villa to Glorieta Violeta and will remain closed from Hidalgo to Campo Marte.

Lines 2, 5 and 6 will operate normally. All routes will restore their normal operation at the end of the parade.
