Samuel García cannot leave his position until he appoints interim governor – El Sol de México

Monterrey.- During the morning of this Friday the governor was notified Samuel Garcia that he cannot leave office until the matter of the interim governor is resolved.

This according to a notification that was posted on the doors of the Government Palace, the unconstitutionality controversy was promoted by the deputy Mauro Guerra, president of the State Congress.

It is worth mentioning that said notification was also directed to the Secretary General of the Government, Javier Navarro.

The notification orders the head of the Executive to refrain from abandoning his functions or the territory of the state without justified cause, previously given by the Superior Court of Justice.

Highlight that andThe document was endorsed by Mr. Alberto Ortega Peza, Judge of the First Civil Unitary Chamber of the Superior Court of the State of Nuevo León.

In this way, Samuel García will not be able to go on his presidential campaign starting December 2, and until June 2, 2024, this in accordance with the license approved by Congress, at least until the matter of the interim governor.
