Taxis burned in Chilpancingo, Guerrero – El Sol de México

Two taxis were set on fire during the night of Wednesday and early this Thursday in two events that occurred in Chilpancingo.

The first of the events occurred minutes before 10 p.m. in the Javier Mina neighborhood, where Suspected armed civilians threw a Molotov cocktail at the unit.

Audios circulated in which a person, supposedly the person in charge of this vehicle, reported the incident and asked his companions to protect their units.

Already in the early morning, around 5:00 a.m., calls for help from citizens were reported to the 911 emergency services after the fire of a vehicle in the Jardines de Zinnia subdivision.

It was found that the unit that was practically burned, It corresponded to a taxi from the local Chilpancingo service.

Since last Monday, the public transport service has been suspended, after the murder of four steering wheel workers, in different events mentioned in the capital.

Security operations have been implemented to provide security to the population, However, citizens are terrified and educational and commercial work has been paralyzed.

On Tuesday the version was spread that public transport service would resume this Wednesday, however, at night, An urban van on the Rosario Ibarra route was set on fire in the Vista Hermosa neighborhood.
