In the very early hours of this February 9, the British music and phonography industry made an important announcement that could be of convenience for the KPop genre, and that is that BLACKPINK’s famous album, released in 2022, has Received an official BRIT Silver certification.
These certifications are only given to albums that have only had 60,000 units sold, likewise, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) only gives this certification to individual singles when they have surpassed or achieved the 200,000 units sold.
Given this news, the BLINKS have not missed the opportunity to congratulate their favorite group, and although the girls of the girl band are working separately, the legacy they left for many yearswill continue to be present in the industry for life.
