Vogue magazine in his edition of United Kingdom, British Voguerecently published his latest cover for the month of March with which Edward Enninful is firediconic editor who was collaborating with the magazine and who came up with the idea of bringing together 40 of the most famous women in the world.
“The end of an era. After six and a half years and 153 cover stars, including the 40 legendary women who were photographed together in New York for our March 2024 issue, this is British Vogue’s 76th and final issue of Edward Enninfulhe says in the Instagram post.
The women featured are Salma Hayek, Simone Ashley, Anya Taylor-Joy, Gemma Chan, Jodie Comer, Selma Blair, Jane Fonda, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Laverne Cox. Multiple singers such as Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Ariana DeBose, Victoria Beckham, Rina Sawayama, Karen Elson and Cynthia Erivo were also present.
Also, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Irina Shayk, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Karlie Kloss, Precious Lee, Kaia Gerber, Vittoria Ceretti, Adut Akech, Adwoa Aboah, Naomi Campbell, Jourdan Dunn, Anok Yai, Iman Abdulmajid, Paloma Elsesser, Amber Valletta and Lila Moss, as well as Serena Williams, Maya Jama, Jameela Jamil and Christy Turlington.
According to the same publication, the idea was crazy but it was possible if it was to fire the legendary journalist Edward Enninful.
“When the initial idea for the cover came about, there was only one question: Would 40 of the world’s most private and blessed women really arrive at a studio in Manhattan, on a December day, to take an image together? Spoiler alert: they came.”
