CETEG leader murdered in Teloloapan, Guerrero – El Sol de México

The leader of the State Coordinator of Education Workers of Guerrero (CETEG), Lenin Serrano Espíndola, was shot dead in the municipality of Teloloapan.

The news was confirmed by the municipal president of Pedro Ascensio Alquisiras, Austreberta Lopez Rogel, who through her official Facebook account, offered her condolences to the family.

The councilor posted: “I send my most sincere condolences to the family and friends of who in life was my dear and appreciable friend Lenin Serrano Espíndola.”

Although there is no official statement on the details of the professor’s death, it emerged that it was this Friday afternoon when was deprived of life.

The former councilor was allegedly intercepted by armed civilians in the community of Yerbabuena, belonging to the municipality of Teloloapan, Tierra Caliente region of Guerrero.

In that place, the subjects shot him to death, according to reports that circulated through social networks, in which they also expressed their condolences.

The CETEG leadership has so far not established a position on the crime of the professor, who was a tireless defender of the rights of Guerrero teachers.
