José Agustín Maldonado, an agent of the Undersecretary of Municipal Transit of Chilpancingo was murdered shot on Friday night in the Virreyes subdivision.
This subdivision is located on the Mexico-Acapulco highway, between the Chilpancingo-Petaquillas section.
The victim was the owner of the Undersecretariat of Transit during the administration of former municipal president Antonio Gaspar Beltrán between 2018-2021.
According to reports, the agent was shopping at a model store, when He was attacked with bullets.

A strong security operation led by the State Police and National Guard was implemented at the site; while the crime occurs after the attacks against public transportation, which kept transportation paralyzed for four days in Chilpancingo.
