A few hours ago the death of Gustavo Ferrer Galguera, a Mexican announcer who lent his voice to different radio and television projects, including the program ‘En Familia Chabelo’, where it was for more than a decade.

It was in the early morning of this Monday February 12 When Gustavo Adolfo Ferrer died at 79 years old. This is how he highlighted it political columnist Paco Rojas, who through his X account, formerly on Twitter, wrote:
“With great sadness he informed you that he passed away today at 1:30 in the morning. Rest in peace the ‘Lord of the radio’”, indicated his also friend. On the official account of ‘Mi rancho El Porvenir’, a radio program in which he also collaborated, he published:
“We hug our cousins Lorena and Carolina, their son Gustavo, uncle Carlos and brother Arturo Ferrer Galguera very tightly.” In addition, they indicated that he will be watched today at 12:00 p.m. at the IMSS funeral home in Sabina, Tabasco.
Who was Gustavo Ferrer?
He was an announcer who worked in different media like radio or television. His voice was used in several productions, so it is remembered by different generations.
He was born on May 29, 1944 in the city of Comalco, in Tabasco. From a very young age he began his career within the entertainment industry. Was 26 years at Televisa collaborating on different projects.

For example, he was on Jacobo Zabludovsky’s newscast, as well as on ‘In Family with Chabelo’ presenting some segments, here lasted 14 years.
Then he collaborated for 4 years in ‘Play playing’, a program from that network that was broadcast on Channel 4. Likewise, for a time he presented some scenes in ‘The Carbine of Ambrosio’.
For 7 years he worked in a W radio children’s program. Later he continued his professional career in his native Tabasco, as he was in another morning program for children at the XETAB radio.
While from 2000 to 2004 he edited the newspaper ‘The future of children’ on their ‘Friends Club’ website. Later she entered the radio show ‘My Rancho el Porvenir’, one of the last in which he participated.
