New Year 2024: this is how the first countries in the world celebrate – El Sol de México

Although in Mexico we are still on the last day of 2023, in other parts of the world, people have already welcomed 2024.

In countries like Australia, China, and Japan, fireworks and celebrations were present.

In Australia, the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House were illuminated during New Year’s Eve celebrations.

In Hong Kong, China, fireworks explode over Victoria Harbor as hundreds of spectators look on.

In Mumbai, India, people bid farewell to 2023 in front of the sea, some carrying paraphernalia to say goodbye to the old year.

In Beijing, China, people gathered to do the traditional countdown and ring in the New Year.

Fireworks also exploded over Marina Bay during New Year celebrations in Singapore.
