An anonymous complaint accuses the retired minister, Arturo Zaldívar, as well as his associates in the Judiciary, for allegedly violating judicial independence, lack of impartiality, sexual violence, bribery, abuse of office, diversion of resources and hidden enrichment.
The Federal Judiciary Council received the complaint on April 9, so Minister President Norma Piña ordered an investigation into the events described in investigation file J/108/2024.
