The senator Ricardo Monreal Ávila referred this saturday night to the violence that prevails in the country and that during this week It cost the lives of two of his relatives.
In a publication by X (formerly Twitter) the senator and former governor of Zacatecas wrote: “Tough and painful time for the country, for Zacatecas, where entire families have suffered, including mine.”
This Saturday morning was murdered Jorge Antonio Monreal Martínez, second nephew (son of a cousin) of the also coordinator of the Senate Political Coordination Board and Morena’s chamber leader. The crime occurred in the community of Plateros, in Fresnillo, Zacatecas.
In the same municipality, during the morning of this Saturday His brother David Monreal received a contingent of the 800 soldiers that Sedena deployed to support security operations in the entity.
Ricardo Monreal said that The governor of Zacatecas two years ago “decided to combat crime and impunity” and urged you to join that effort “and that of the president, to achieve peace.”
