For its part, Shakira He published on his social networks some photos of the moment in which this monument was unveiled, the second that pays tribute to the singer.
“It makes me happy to share this with my parents and especially with my mother on her birthday,” the singer said on her Instagram account.

Just a few hours after being published, Shakira’s publication has already reached just over two million likes and 25 thousand comments in which the singer’s career is recognized.
The person in charge of making the statue that refers to the iconic Shakira’s hip movement was the plastic artist Yino Marquez, who was also present at the event.
“The end of her aluminum skirt symbolizes the waves of the sea and the river. Her raised arms and hands intertwined vertically represent the reach of transcendence,” can be read on the plaque of the work.
