They arrest 13 alleged members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CGJN) in a hilly area of ​​the municipality of Uruapan, Michoacán.

The arrest was carried out while elements of the Civil Guard and Mexican Army belonging to the Interinstitutional Operations Base of Nuevo San Juan They were carrying out a surveillance operation in the town of Chimilpa.

When they were in the hilly area they were able to locate a Green Cheyenne type truck with the initials CJNGso they secured the vehicle and activated an operation in which elements of the National Guard joined.

The agents found a warehouse and a property where They found 13 people: 12 men and one woman, which they carried weapons and tactical equipment.

The elements were in charge of making the arrest and ensured nine long weapons, four AR-15 rifles, a .308 rifle, two fragmentation grenades, a grenade launcher attachment, tactical equipment and three trucks.
